What is cellulite?
Cellulite is a skin condition which affects more than 90% of women. Directly related to hormonal variations, it also tends to worsen with age. Resulting from micro circulation impairment; cellulite is a vicious circle involving fluid retention, enlargement of fat cells and an alteration of connective tissue.

What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is a one-of-a-kind technique applied to the entire body by an LPG Certified Technician to fight cellulite with:
LPG's patented therapeutic massagers, specialized devices boasting unmatched technology Specific maneuvers which work various layers of your skin.

What is the principle of Endermologie?
The LPG device is unique because of the patented action of the treatment head that combines gentle suction with two active rollers, creating a symmetrical skin fold. The skin is lifted by gentle suction, while the rollers treat this skin fold. Various maneuvers are applied first on the back, then on the buttocks, thighs, legs, and finally on the abdomen for a 35 minute total body treatment. Your Endermologie technician will individualize your treatment by focusing on your cellulite-ridden areas.

What makes Endermologie different than others?
Pure "vacuum therapy" has been used for many years, with no success. Endermologie is the first technique to introduce a patented combination of suction plus dual active rollers to create a symmetrical skin fold. Only the LPG family of therapeutic massagers has two rollers to comfortably roll - and unroll - the skin, thus treating the various layers of tissue. Suction alone does not work, and without two rollers, the skin may be pinched or bruised, showing little results.

How does it work?
Endermologie is like performing gymnastics on your skin and underlying tissue; suction and motorized rollers massage your skin, thus exercising it.
LPG's gentle suction mobilizes your connective tissue and the rollers help to increase circulation, thus facilitating the exchange of fluids. Endermologie closes the gap between the two forces that originally created the dimpled appearance, thus fighting the appearance of cellulite.

Are there any side effects?
Minor, temporary bruising may occur.

How long does a session last? Do you just work on my problem areas?
Sessions last an average of 35 minutes. Your problem areas are focused on, but time is given to other areas to stimulate general circulation and elimination.

How many sessions before I see results?
Usually people see changes within 6 or 7 sessions, but 14 is the average number of suggested treatments.

How long do the results last?
For several months up to a few years, depending on age, lifestyle, and hormonal changes. Once-a-month maintenance sessions are recommended after completion of the initial sessions.

Why does the skin look dimpled?
Clinically, the appearance of cellulite is the result of enlarged female hypodermic lobules, which give the skin the dimpled "orange peel" look. As a woman, you have two opposing forces which create this visible appearance of cellulite: Vertical connective tissue pulling down on the skin. Fluid retention and enlarged fat cells pushing up on the skin.

Does this replace exercise?
No. In fact, it is highly recommended that you add diet and exercise to the routine you follow while undergoing Endermologie treatments. In most cases, this improves results.

Do diet and exercise get rid of cellulite?
NO. Because cellulite is a complex problem, it must be addressed from the subcutaneous layer, to act on fluid retention. Whereas both diet and exercise affect deep fat, they fail to act on the underlying cause of cellulite in the superficial tissue of your skin. Even women who exercise regularly and follow a low fat-diet may still have cellulite.

Will anything help?
YES. Endermologie is a technique recognized worldwide which has been proven for over 10 years. Administered with the LPG family of therapeutic massagers, Endermologie is the first technique recognized to fight the dimple appearance of cellulite by temporarily improving local circulation.

Does it really work? Have you seen results?
Yes, it does work, as demonstrated in thousands of case studies from Europe. And, within four months of beginning in the US, similar results are being documented in photographs and testimonials.

How many treatments can I have in one week?
The average number of treatments is two per week. If you are simultaneously in the process of losing a significant amount of weight or if you have a long-term problematic cellulite condition, one treatment per week is recommended. More than two sessions per week will not bring faster results.

Does this treatment work on men also?
Definitely. For problem areas such as "love handles" and loose pectoral tissues. Results have been excellent.

How long do I have to wait after liposuction or a tummy tuck to receive treatment?
Before receiving a treatment consult your practitioner. Usually, you must wait until the compressive garments come off.

Does the machine tone the skin? Will I lose weight?
You will most likely notice an improvement in skin tone after using the machine. Appearance of stretch marks and loose skin may be improved. It is not a weight loss method. However, many clients report being able to lose weight, especially fat weight, more easily while using the machine than they ever could before.

What sensations will I experience during the treatment? Does it hurt?
The sensation is similar to a deep massage. Most clients find it quite pleasant. The strength of the treatment can be individually adjusted to your comfort level.

What will I feel afterwards?
Most clients report a feeling of relaxation and an increase in energy. Since the Lymphatic system is stimulated, it is recommended that you drink at least two liters of water every day during the duration of your treatment in order to aid in elimination of the mobilized fat.

What is the difference between Endermologie and liposuction? Can it be used instead of liposuction?
Endermologie, unlike liposuction, does not involve breaking through the skin in any way. Some people use Endermologie only and some choose to receive both Endermologie and liposuction as part of a dual treatment to their problem. Because of its effectiveness, Endermologie is being used and studied by some of the most well known practitioners of liposuction in the world.

Can I receive treatments if I am pregnant?
No correlation has been found between Endermologie and complications in pregnancy. However, it is recommended that during pregnancy you do NOT receive treatments.

Why are pantyhose worn when receiving treatments?
Pantyhose allows the Endermologie treatment head to glide more easily over the body and insures optimal hygiene

Why are photos taken before & after the treatment?
Photos are taken to provide an accurate record of improvements and to help the Endermologie practitioner provide better treatments through comparative analysis.

Do you protect my privacy?
No one but your therapist and attendant staff will see your photos. If you wish, and you sign a release to that effect, your photos may be used for educational and promotional purposes.
